We promise we looked at a few venues and vendors to have a more 'traditional' wedding! But that lasted all of two weeks, until we looked at each other and said, "Let's elope." We got married on March 2nd at Providence City Hall with our family and our dog Toby with us! We had the best day being able to focus on just us and what we wanted to do! We exchanged private vows... you can imagine how that went with Matthew's imagination... took photos, and even had our nephew Tucker (co-best man) bring us the rings during our quick 3-minute and 43-second ceremony. Following all the paperwork and witness signatures, we all enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Fleur in Providence, where Carly wished she had brought some sweatpants to change into and Matt enjoyed his favorite drink, Lemon Drops! Before all heading home for the evening as it was well past our bedtime (8:30pm). Even though we were sad not all of you could be there for the actual marriage, we are so excited to be able to celebrate with you during our camping celebration! Love, Carly & Matt
