We are getting married😊

Sit tight, fasten your seatbelt. We are about to take you on a journey 😉 Feranmi: Taiye and I are childhood friends. Our fathers worked in the same company before they retired. August 2015, I was on holiday from school and my mum just got back from work and decided to make dinner. While cooking, we were gisting and she asked “See how close your dad and his friends are, why are the children not close?” The next day, I decided to reach out to Stephanie (a mutual family friend) to send me Taiye’s number (till today, I don’t know why I had the instinct to reach out to him🤷🏽‍♀️). I called him and we gisted a little. The next conversation we had, he asked me to date him. I just laughed and said no. We stayed in touch as friends. We became closer when he moved to Abuja for NYSC and he stayed with my parents. Fast forward to December 2017, when he came to spend Christmas holiday with his parents in Ibadan. I was also home for the holiday. Once again, he asked me to date him and I said I’ll give it a thought. January 3rd 2018, I agreed to date him but the long distance relationship was not working so I decided to end it. We saw ourselves in December 2018, I guess what we felt for each other never ended so we decided to give it another shot. August 2022, we are getting married🥰 Taiwo: Well, she has said it all 😌
