Where should we park at the ceremony?

Answer

Street parking is permitted for out of state tags anywhere in DC on Sundays.

What airport should we fly in to?

Answer

DC Ronald Regan is the closest to the city. BWI is 40 minutes north Dulles is 45 minutes south (traffic can get bad coming this way)

Do you have a room block?

Answer

Yes, at Yours Truly hotel in DC. Jefferson-Colbert wedding. To access the special rate, use the like via this website. The discount will populate at check out. If you call the hotel they will not be able to assist you.

Is every event during the wedding weekend open invitations?

Answer

No. We are hosting a number of events to try and accommodate everyone. As much as we would love to host a wedding each day, it’s not possible. Please note events that are by invitation only.

Is there a dress code?

For the day of the wedding we strongly suggest black tie.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive at Dumbarton United Methodist Church at 4:30pm est

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We kindly ask for your enjoyment and the enjoyment of other guest that children under 21 be left at home.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels and the ceremony?

Answer

No transportation will be provided. The wedding reception at the hotel is a 6 minute drive or 15 minute walk from the church. We STRONGLY suggest Uber for out of town guest, if you live in DC you already know how Georgetown is, choose your fate!
