Front Porch Wedding

March 14th, 2020

Just shy of a week before the wedding, we got the news of the COVID-19 outbreak. Things were being shut down, flights were being cancelled, and our out of state family was calling in to break the news - they couldn't leave the state to be here for our wedding. Absolutely heartbroken and confused on what to do, Tay's dad made the suggestion of a front porch wedding, officiated by him, at our new home. Who knew a crazy, spur of the moment decision would be the best day of our lives. We were blessed to have an intimate wedding with just our parents and siblings, with some grandparents on FaceTime as well. With that being said, we were still crushed that we weren't able to have the dream wedding we invested so much time and money into. So, we decided we will still be celebrating with a new take on a reception.

NEW CELEBRATION DATE

What's a wedding without a celebration?

You read it right! We have a NEW celebration date! We thought COVID-19 would be over by now... but obviously we were wrong. So, our new date is August 28th, 2020! Same place, one little time adjustment, and MORE fun!

COVID-19 Restrictions

We understand that COVID-19 is still present, and we want to respect your health and well being. Our venue is not requiring any guests to wear masks, but please feel free to bring/wear them as needed. We want you to be comfortable and make decisions that best suit you and your family. If you are bringing a mask, we ask that you wear it when walking about the venue. Masks won't be needed when eating at the tables :) We will also be providing a plethora of hand sanitizing stations. If you don't feel comfortable attending at all, no problem! A Zoom link will be provided upon request.
