The ceremony itself will be with our immediate family only. Everyone is invited to the reception which will follow the ceremony. This is an entirely outdoor event, there will be food vendors, libations, karaoke and music. We've eliminated a lot of the stereotypical traditions for our celebration, expect to attend a giant laid back "big easy" party! We are mostly really excited for all our friends and family to be in one place at the same time! This never happens because Thrad and I have both lived in 3 different cities before moving to NOLA. We hope that ya'll will feel comfortable to mingle and socialize, it's so important that our friends and family know one another! We can't wait to see you there!

Dress in your most vibrant Sunday best.

This is an annual parade, if you're still in town, you'll be able to experience a bit of New Orleans culture. I highly recommend, there will be beads to catch, amazing fashion and vibrant costumes! Parades are such a joyous, playful and creative cultural act in this city. Truly some magic to experience. Meet by the Archway at Louis Armstrong Park at 4:30pm.
