This is where Seth proposed to Kalie on June 12, 2021! Memorial Park has several walking trails for you to enjoy along with beautiful landscaping right in the heart of Houston.
Taste of Texas
This is a favorite special event date night restaurant for Seth and Kalie. A fun fact: Taste of Texas is actually a Texas history museum! Seth recommends the steak and Kalie loves the salad bar, which is the best in the city!
Pier 6
If you are in town for a few days before or after the wedding (although closed on Mondays), Pier 6 is a local seafood place right on the bay. Note: it is a far drive from the venue, but it has the most DELICIOUS seafood you could ever taste and the best atmosphere! A favorite of Seth and Kalie's!
Texas Bluebonnets

Minute Maid Park
Home of the Houston Astros!! Kalie has been a loyal fan since she was very little and Seth became a fan in 2016 when he moved to Houston. They enjoy going to games with their family and together! Sadly, the Astros will be playing away games out of town during the wedding weekend and following week, but the park is still available for tours!
