The closest airports are Florence and Pisa and the easiest way to get around is by car. There are rental car options available from both airports. If you're travelling on your own and not sure what to do please let us know and we'll try to organise car sharing with other guests. If coming via train, the nearest stations are Montevarchi and Bucine, with local taxi options available. We have some numbers for taxi drivers in that area so please ask us for help if you need it or we can come to collect you.
Absolutely. While you have the room until Monday, we do realise we are asking people to take time off work so if you need to leave on Sunday to get back for work on Monday then please feel free.
Our wedding has been designed around the theme of all our friends and family under one roof for a weekend away in Tuscany, so we do really hope you can stay with us on site. Please let us know ASAP if you are thinking of making alternate arrangements.
The dress code for the wedding is garden cocktail - think light suits and floaty dresses. The ceremony starts at 5.30pm to avoid the summer sun as best we can. Stilettos might not be the best idea as the ground is mainly grass and gravel. There is also a pool area on-site to enjoy during your stay, so remember swimwear!
Yes. There's plenty of free parking available on site for the whole weekend if you've rented a car.
Our wedding is an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the weekend. We appreciate you making child care arrangements for your little ones so you can celebrate with us.
Each room has an en suite bathroom (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, provided), air conditioning, hairdryers and a mini fridge, so please feel free to bring any food or beverages with you to keep in your rooms. Tea, coffee, water and fresh milk are provided. There isn't an iron in each room but there will be one set up in the communal area on the day of the wedding for guests to use. Don't forget to pack your travel power adapters/plugs and mosquito repellent if you're prone to bites!
There are a limited number of rooms so if you are coming on your own then we'll allocate you a twin-room with someone to share with to help split the cost. Don't worry - you won't be sharing a bed with a stranger! Please check in with us if you'd like to know more.
Yes! Breakfast is served from 8-10am each morning. It's buffet style and you can order eggs how you like as well as enjoy freshly squeezed juices and coffee.
