We’re Getting Married!

You could say that we met through mutual friends. One night, when Michael and I were just friends, he actually told my dad that he was going to marry me one day. I thought he was crazy! Well, Michael knew what he wanted, and he persisted. I'm so thankful that he did. I can't wait to marry this man.

(For some back-story: Pretty early into our relationship, I [Hannah] saw an ad on Facebook where you could design your own wedding ring. Of course I did it. Then sent it right to Michael.) So, Michael and I were getting ready to go on vacation to Charleston, SC. I had my suspicions that he might pop the question, but Michael convinced me that he wouldn’t be proposing any time soon. Little did I know that while we were taking our first touristy picture together I would look over and see Michael down on one knee. (SO thankful for the kind lady who switched the camera to video!!) And guess what? He had the ring made to look JUST like the one I ‘designed’ online.
