Two Less Fish In The Sea

05.23.2015

We had our first date at MacGregor's Bar & Grill in Rochester, NY in April 2015. Since then, we have traveled all over the country, and explored other countries. We LOVE to travel, go to concerts, move around to different cities, and work on our house together. We are a fun loving couple who enjoys each other's company no matter what we are doing. We have learned so much about life and always bring the best out of each other. We are SO excited to get married in one of our favorite places, Cozumel, Mexico!!

The Proposal

10.22.2020

After an emotional and unpredictable year, we decided it was time to tie the knot. In order to make this announcement and to make it "official", we planned a time for our family to fly in for a trip to Charleston, SC. Since it was October, we all decided to have a pumpkin carving contest. When Dylan revealed his pumpkin to the family, "Will You Marry Me?" was carved into it. When Faith turned hers around it was already carved with "Yes!". Everyone was so surprised as Dylan got on one knee and officially proposed, all the while 'Hocus Pocus' played in the background on TV. Now we are ready for some fun in Cozumel, Mexico!

Why Cozumel?

We booked a cruise from New Orleans to Cozumel, while we still lived in Rochester. The day we left, there was a freak ice storm in Atlanta, GA that caused our 6 am flight to be delayed. We were frustrated, but knew we had plenty of time to make it! We made it to Atlanta only to have another flight delay due to not fueling the plane. We realized as we were in the air flying to New Orleans, we weren't gonna make it to the ship in time. We were devastated, but after being persistent with the airline, we got a free flight the next morning directly to Cozumel to catch our cruise at its first port! We arrived in Cozumel and had a day to spare before finally jumping on the ship. We stayed at a hotel by the port and found a tiki bar nearby called Sunset. We loved the laid back, beautiful environment. That's when we knew Cozumel would have a special place in our hearts!
