FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what is listed here, please reach out to the maid of honor, Hannah, at 312-401-3999
Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Unless otherwise noted on your invitation, we are sadly not able to accommodate plus ones. Please check your invitation and the RSVP details on our website to confirm.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are unfortunately not able to include all children at our ceremony and reception. Unless otherwise noted on your invitation, we ask that you arrange a babysitter for the evening and enjoy a parents night out!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the evening is semi-formal. Summer dresses and suits are preferred, no t-shirts, jeans or sneakers, please!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start and doors will close promptly at 4:00 PM. We suggest that you arrive with at least a 30 minute buffer to find parking, get settled, and enjoy the live music that will be playing prior to the ceremony!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is ample street parking accessible around both the ceremony and reception venues. Please refer to the Travel tab of our website for specific suggestions regarding parking and access to our venue's via public transportation.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

As the doors close and the ceremony begins, we ask that you kindly refrain from taking photos. Once the ceremony concludes, please feel free to take as many photos as you wish! At the reception, you'll notice QR codes placed around the venue that will allow you to upload any and all photos taken throughout the night to our shared Google Drive. We would love for you to help us capture the love and celebrations by sharing the pictures you take.

Question

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We will be toasting the newlyweds directly after the ceremony, outside the front doors of the church. Please stick around to raise your glass to the Romero's, as well as to say a quick hello to the happy couple. Once that concludes, feel free to start making your way over to Anthem, for the reception. It might take time to find parking, so we suggest working in a buffer! We will have a cocktail hour with music, snacks and drinks starting at 6PM, with dinner starting shortly after!

Question

What type of food and drink will be served at the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We will have a variety of non-alcoholic drinks served throughout the night during both the cocktail hour and the reception, including aguas frescas, horchata, and soft drinks. Chips and salsa will be served during cocktail hour, and dinner will be self-served unlimited tacos, catered by our favorite Mexican restaurant in the city... El Tezcal.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry? Can I bring gifts to the wedding?

Answer

We are registered with Zola - please view the Registry tab on our website for more details. There is no expectation for you to bring a gift - your commitment to celebrating with us is a blessing in itself. If you would like to give, we will have a card table at the reception, where you can leave a note or contribute to our Honeymoon Fund via QR code.

Question

How does seating work?

Answer

Seating at both the ceremony and reception will be open - please feel free to sit wherever and with whomever you wish! We kindly ask that you take careful consideration when selecting your seats to ensure that there are no single empty seats left at the end or middle of your aisles or tables.
