Let’s do this!!!!!

Half of this love story began in NJ, when Stacy signed up for eharmony looking for something different in her dating life. The other half of this love story began in upstate NY; when I randomly saw an eharmony commercial, at 1:00am, advertising a "free communication weekend". A month before I saw the commercial I was speaking with a friend about paying for online dating. My friend was gifted an eharmony subscription. Her gifted subscription was ending and she was going to start paying for it herself. I told her paying for online dating was unnecesary. So when I saw the commercial for a free communication weekend I thought this proved my point! All she needed to do was wait until these free weekends came around. So I immediatley sent it to her. She was a bit iffy so I signed up to show her this free communication weekend was just as good as her subscription. After signing up, I quickly learned exactly what free communication meant! I could see profiles and send messages, but I couldn’t see anyone’s pictures! I wondered if anyone could see me so I uploaded pictures. Then I got some messages; one of them being from Stacy. Stacy stood out because she said something witty about us matching 100% in several categories. I then explained that I couldn’t see any of her pictures and I had a “Cinderella profile” that was going to expire at the end of the weekend because I was only doing the free communication weekend. Stacy responded "and here I thought you responded because of my good looks". I died laughing and she had me with her charm! She wanted to send me a picture of herself so I could see how she looked. We exchanged numbers on Sunday morning and she sent me a picture. I thought she looked sexy! I told her she looked amazing but I’d have to talk to her later because I was now at church. She thought I “ghosted her”. So she was pleasantly surprised when I called her back after church. We then talked on the phone for 12 hours. Literally 12 hours! The rest is herstory!

It was a dark and stormy night. I was asleep in my bed. Then, I was suddenly awakened from my sleep by the thunder and lightening (insert thunder and lightening sounds). I had a crazy feeling that somewhere out there, someone needed me. So I grabbed my laptop and I typed in eharmony.com. I searched and I searched. It was like this urge was guiding me. It took some time, but then I found her! I looked at her profile and I just knew! I said if she responds, this is the woman I will marry. I sent her a message and when she responded it confirmed this was going to be my wife; she just did not know it yet. When she responded to my message, I thought she must have been captivated by my beauty and wit. However, it turns out this woman that I declared I would marry (if she responded to my message) was too cheap to pay for a full subscription so she had no idea what I looked liked! In that moment, I said I have to meet and get to know this woman who had no shame for her cheapness because she is going to be my wife! Now here we are and she’s going to be my wife!
