On October 1st, 2022, Mikayla and Quentin's paths crossed in a most delightful way. Mikayla was out with her friends, hosting her annual Brunch and Brew's event, brewery and bar hopping throughout NE Minneapolis. Quentin, on the other hand, was celebrating his birthday at the Moose Bar in NE Minneapolis. The magic began when Mikayla's friend Katy lured her to the bar to take a NOT needed shot of tequila. Just then, she felt a tap on her shoulder. Turning around, she saw Quentin's friends, Kelly and Charles, who excitedly told her that their friend thought she was really cute! Mikayla wasted no time and shouted, "Where is he?!" They pointed to a booth behind them, and there Quentin was, sitting in the booth. Mikayla quickly scooted into the booth and introduced herself. Seeing how intoxicated these two future lovebirds were, Quentin's friend Gabe sprang into action, snapping a picture of Mikayla and Quentin and suggesting they exchange numbers, then text the photo to ensure their memories would be jogged the next morning! Mikayla made it clear to Quentin that she meant business and he needed to text or call her to take her on a proper date. They then parted ways into the night. Quentin took Mikayla on their first date a week later and the rest is history!
