Flight
For our US guests, we would recommend flying into the Dublin Airport because it will likely be the most affordable. You can also fly into Cork Airport or Shannon Airport, but they will likely be more expensive. We have found that flights to Ireland are affordable 3-6 months out from your trip. If you have any questions about booking flights please reach out to Evan or Mia.
Travel Note
We wanted to remind all guests traveling abroad to double-check their travel documents to ensure everything is in order. Please take a moment to verify the following: Passport Validity: Your passport should be valid for at least six months beyond your planned return date. Many countries require this for entry, so please make sure your passport will not expire soon. We recommend checking your passport’s expiration date as soon as possible to avoid any last-minute issues. If you need to renew, please allow ample time for processing. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out!
Travel Note
To make calls in Ireland you will need international coverage from your phone provider. To do this, call your provider and ask them how you will get international coverage. Please look into this before the trip if you want to have data in Ireland, otherwise it will cost you a pretty penny! If you choose not to get data coverage in Ireland, you will need to turn your phone on airplane mode anytime you leave wifi. We also recommend turning off the "roaming" data as well because it can turn on without you knowing.
Travel Note
Some banks will assume fraud if you do not let them know you are leaving the country. We recommend either calling your bank to let them know you are traveling outside of the country, or some banks let you update them about travel on their app. Depending on your bank, some providers charge you a fee to use your card outside of the US. Try calling your bank and asking them about this before traveling. Note: Most places in Europe do not accept Discover.
