Lexi & Evan first met on a fraternity lawn at a Cal football game and at the time, neither thought much of it. As fate would have it, a year later, they found themselves at a mutual friend's birthday party in Lake Tahoe. After a long weekend with plenty of laughs - something was there. Lexi was so curious about Evan that she actually asked him out for their first date - which he promptly bailed on... While he had a good reason, Evan quickly thought up a replacement date - a local music festival out in Oakland with Juvenile headlining. To no one's surprise, the sultry sounds of Slow Motion and Back That Azz Up were the backdrop to new love, and the rest was history.
On a foggy April weekend in San Francisco, Evan had the crazy idea to convince Lexi to leave their apartment a day after she'd returned from a week of work travel. Under the guise of drinks with friends for the NCAA tournament, a slightly annoyed Lexi begrudgingly followed Evan to the top of historic Alta Plaza Park, which overlooked the quiet neighborhood that had been their home for nearly 3 years. Out of nowhere, Evan dropped to one knee and began to ask the question when Lexi exclaimed, "Is this a joke?! I'm being Punk'd right!" After clearing up that, "...No, this isn't a joke. I want you to be my wife!" Lexi agreed to take Evan's hand in marriage and they were met in celebration by local friends and loved ones.
