Question

Okay, we're in! When should we book by?

Answer

For the room block group rate (which we highly recommend), you must book with our travel agent by February 15, 2021. Please see the Travel + Resort tab for more information regarding booking.

Do I need a passport?

Answer

You will need a passport to travel to Mexico. If you need to apply for a passport, we highly recommend getting a head start on an application for a passport sooner than later, as the process can take several months.

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

While we love your kids, we kindly ask to leave the kids at home with the sitter for the weekend (you deserve a weekend away anyway). If you do want to bring your kids for the weekend, you will need to stay at El Dorado Royale's sister resort, Generations, which is within walking distance to the resort. Please note that the El Dorado Royale does not allow kids under 18 at any time, including for wedding-related activities.

What do we wear to a destination wedding?

Answer

The ceremony attire will be semi-formal, with tropical colors encouraged (we are in Mexico, after all!). Examples: Men: Tuxes or suits Women: Gowns or formal cocktail Please also note we are going to have multiple events throughout the weekend, so make sure to bring outfits for them all! We will keep you updated on events under the Schedule tab, so you know exactly what you need to pack.

How long can we stay?

Answer

We have a room block that guarantees group rates for up to 7 nights (with a 3 night minimum). We encourage all of our guests to stay a few extra nights and get some much needed R & R!
