I met Hannah in 2016 at our church smallgroup. We had this idea to have weekly worship sessions at our small group (with me on acoustic guitar and Hannah on violin of course) thus the best friendship ever had begun! It took sometime but after many late night jam sessions, early mornings on the worship team, hours and hours of conversations (and a few times we almost pre-maturely met Jesus) I finally did it. I asked if Hannah wanted to listen to a Fleet Foxes vinyl and then we went to her mom's birthday party... Oh yeah and then we started to date! July 9th 2017 (look at that, that's the best date you've ever seen in your life don't even lie) The next 4 years that followed were filled with so much fun and adventure and unique experiences that I wouldn't be able to fit them all into the 1500 word limit this website is giving me. But I'm so excited to continue this crazy journey with my best friend. Because we're getting married! (I gave her a cool rock) But you, my beloved friend and or family member reading this, already knew that. I mean, you're on our wedding website you've probably figured it out by now. Well done, I knew you could do it. Thank you for celebrating with us!

We both had the same idea to start weekly worship in our group (me with my violin, and Evan on acoustic guitar of course), and thus the best friendship of the year had begun. It took some time, but after many jam sessions, early Sunday mornings on the team, hours and hours of conversations, (and a few near-death incidents driving the Homeschooler), Evan asked me if I'd listen to a Fleet Foxes vinyl.. and then we went to my mom's birthday party, and then we decided to date, July 9th 2017. Five years, a couple road-trips, plenty of concerts, (a global pandemic), and about eight-million family cookouts later, we're getting married! I'm so excited to start this new part of our life. Thank you all for being here for us!

I'm Emily - I love making things: music, illustration, coffee, my two awesome daughters. I first met Hannah when she was 7 pounds/some odd ounces of big brown-eye-baby-sis perfect-round-head cuteness! From her gentle wisdom to her large bowls of ice cream, you're not going to find a better human being. She's always up for adventure - she's been my music-loving exploring buddy from NYC to Austin. Well, that is until Evan came along. But he's actually pretty cool too - helps that he's got an awesome taste in music, genuinely a wonderful person and can literally play ANY instrument, (even though he can't tie a balloon) I'm extremely proud of the life the two of them are building together, love them both to bits, and can't wait to stand with them as they step into the next part of their adventure!
