My one and only sister bear, who has been looking after me since I was born! From crafting together, to impromptu dance parties on the bed, now traveling and doing cooking classes together. We will always be best friends! Lucky for us, our dogs are also besties :) We cherish our sister time in California, Austin, and now NYC so much! Wine tasting in Sonoma, beach trips to Santa Cruz, brewery hopping in Austin, and soon-to-be implemented jazz and comedy clubs in Manhattan, Elena and I always have the best time together. So grateful for my built-in best friend!
Cory
Best Man
If you know Evan, you've probably heard the name Cory...because Cory and Evan have been inseparable since fourth grade. From pop warner football leagues, to "entrepreneurial" middle school endeavors (selling Coca Cola from their backpacks after the school banned it), transferring to Berkeley for their engineering degrees, living together in their first SF apartment, and coming *full circle* to working together at their latest jobs at Cloud Kitchens. Cory is the life of the party - so I'm sure you'll find him breaking it down on the dance floor at the wedding, or hear his infectious laugh across the room. We love our Cory!
Katie

My closest friend from high school! Katie and I used to have "homework parties" on Friday nights - we were cool ;) - ran track together, and stayed in touch through college - visiting each other at school, ski trips in Tahoe, and beach weekends in Santa Cruz! Unfortunately, Katie's sister's wedding is on the same date as our postponed wedding, so she will be celebrating (literally!) from afar.
Matt

Matt and Evan have been friends since middle school. Matt's home in Los Gatos was home base for watching football, so all the boys convened there nearly every week. They have fond memories of a road trip in high school to visit perspective colleges. Matt went to University of Washington in Seattle, where Evan and Cory visited him and had so much fun at the wild fraternity parties. Matt now lives in New York City, where he's shown Evan and Emily around to hip restaurants and bars!
Sara

My workout buddy, baking bestie, and weekend trip warrior! Sara is also from Los Gatos, but we've gotten even closer now that we're city girls in SF. We love trying new cookie recipes, or new trendy restaurants. We also have taken up crafting together, attending card-making and hand-lettering workshops at Paper Source!
Ronan Hayes

Ronan and Evan have been bros since middle school. From mountain biking to hitting the slopes, consulting each other for mechanical engineering challenges, providing skilled labor to assist Evan in building our Burning Man Camp (the rest of us are unskilled labor), and most recently playing recreational co-ed soccer with both of us, Ronan is one of our closest friends. If he's had a few drinks, he might whip out a killer Irish accent as his party trick -- see if you're lucky enough to hear it!
Emily

We call her Sherwood, since we share a first name :) I met her through her fiancé Faiz (read below), but she is the life of the party! We've traveled together to Croatia, Vegas, and Santa Barbara, but some of my favorite memories with her are from the annual Santacon in San Francisco! Unfortunately for us but fortunately for her, Sherwood will have a 3 week old daughter by the time of our rescheduled wedding, so she will be celebrating from afar!
Faiz

Faiz worked at Uber at the same time Emily and Cory did. Cory befriended Faiz, playing ping pong with him during their breaks. Eventually, Faiz's friend groups merged with Evan/Cory/Emily's, and now we together have so much fun. Faiz and Evan's favorite memory is sneaking in to a sold-out concert together in SF...something they would only do after having nearly been scammed! We have enjoyed trips to Tahoe, Santa Barbara, Croatia, and LA (to visit Cory & Kay!) together, and many SF nights hosted at Faiz's with all our friends.
Megan

Ask us how we met...we love to tell the story! Megan and I attended an architecture camp at Cal Poly SLO after our junior year of high school. We found out architecture wasn't for us, but have remained friends ever since! From running together in SF, to camping at music festivals, we always have so much fun.
Adu

When Evan returned to Boston for summers, he attended a month-long sports camp, where he met Adu! They relive the time, telling stories of how they "crushed" everyone else athletically, playing World Cup, scheming on the counselor's game of Assassin, and expertly navigating high ropes courses. The two reconnected during college, when Adu moved to the Bay Area for several internships at Apple and Google. Now they enjoy hanging in SF, often chatting about current jobs or new startup ideas!
Catherine

The little sister that I never had...Catherine (we call her Cookie) is my little cousin. We've spent holidays together in Nor Cal, So Cal, and Nashville - she's visited me in SF and NYC. She is a crack up, meet her if you can!
Aaron

Aaron is Evan's younger cousin. The two fondly remember rough housing with their younger siblings during holidays in Boston. When Aaron turned 21, Evan treated him to a weekend in Las Vegas...which was definitely wild! He showed Evan and Emily around the Boston bar scene last time we visited, and he recently came to see us in SF for Bay to Breakers!
Arria

Arria is Evan's younger sister! Can you see the resemblance? She is studying to become an event planner, so she has been giving me all kinds of ideas for our wedding. We have had fun visits in Boston (where she lives), SF, and weekend trips to LA!
Josh

Josh is Evan's younger brother! They remember traveling cross-country with each other between Los Gatos and Boston, competing in impromptu swim races and Guitar Hero (Josh is far superior in both), and bombing down the mountains on their skis (Evan) and snowboard (Josh).
Monique

Many of you have already met Monique, because she often joins us for family gatherings! We worked together at Uber, and since then, workout, shop, eat, and party together! Monique is just about the friendliest person you'll ever meet, so don't be shy :)
Joey

Joey and Evan have been friends since fifth grade! They played football and basketball together growing up, and took the same path transferring to Berkeley's engineering school together. They continued their teammate relationship in intramural football in college, and since then enjoy snow trips to Tahoe together. Joey is one of our only already-married friends, so we will look to him for advice in marriage and fatherhood!
Kay

We were roomies in SF, coworkers at Uber, and a "core four" (Evan, Cory, Kay, and me) group of friends who did just about everything together for 4 years before Cory and Kay moved to LA! We have had so many good times together - surprise trips to Seattle, countless concerts and festivals, celebrating Christmas with salted caramel hot chocolate, and now curated-by-Kay visits in LA.
Zac

Zac is Evan's soon-to-be brother-in-law! Funny story...Evan actually met Zac before anyone else in the Reinhold clan. Evan was with Emily's dad and uncles in Austin, TX for the Moto GP race, so Elena sneakily set up a bro-date between Evan and Zac since she didn't want all her dad and uncles to meet Zac without her there. Evan and Zac hit it off. Since then, they have shared trips to Costa Rica, Paris, Michigan, and more, and comparing notes on their latest favorite IPAs.
Jaycie

Jaycie is a big reason we survived the pandemic! She lived in our SF apartment building for YEARS before we met. What finally did the trick? A puppy, of course. We fell in love with her GSP puppy, Frankie, and our dogs + their humans became best friends ever since. They were our quarantine crew, and we spent many a nights playing games, cooking dinners, and drinking wine in the woes of COVID.

Lucas is Jaycie's fiancé...by association, he too is why we survived COVID! Evan and Lucas thoroughly enjoyed their antics during the pandemic. We have to admit, we thought Lucas was crazy when he was 'prepping' in February 2020. He was right! From Peloton competitions to Rocket League games, Evan and Lucas became best buds during our quarantine period.
