Lovers don’t finally meet somewhere, they’re in each other all along.

Evan and Lily eloped, will honeymoon in France, and then will be celebrating with a small and intimate wedding in Wolf Laurel, North Carolina. Evan and Lily both grew up in Vero Beach, Florida, both were born in 1991, and somehow never met their entire lives until 2022. Thanks to a mother's intuition and persistence (thank you Sherry!) Evan asked Lily on a date. The night they first met, they felt like two old friends catching up - finally meeting again after far too long apart. Within 3 weeks, and date filled weekends in Vero, Lily asked Evan if he'd be interested in traveling together with her to Wolf Laurel from Jacksonville on a road trip - to open up her mother's vintage cabin in the woods for the Spring season. She just had a feeling about him. Evan just had a feeling about her. Within 3 months, plans were made to move in together (long distance is for the birds!), and within 9 months, these two were engaged. Evan proposed to Lily at sunrise in Wolf Laurel on Bald Mountain on December 2, 2022. It was the most magical sky either of them had ever seen.
