Evalee spent the summer of 2018 living and helping out on her girlfriend Nicole's farm in Trout Lake, Washington. She came up to visit for the weekend, with only a backpack and ended up staying for four months. When the farm next door hosted a local music festival, called The Hootenanny, Nicole invited some friends to come and camp for the weekend. Jarrod tagged along with his good friend Robby who is also a close friend of Nicole's. Jarrod was smitten with Evalee from that very first night and he asked her to dance at the Hootenanny. It was like a flashback to a high school dance, complete with a good foot of space between them, and their arms and hands awkwardly trying to find their place. We'd like to say the rest is history but that's not what happened, Evalee got scared and ran away after Jarrod told her she looked pretty. It wasn't for another month of respectful persistence that they finally got together. The beautiful song Jarrod wrote about the night they met, called Evalee, didn't hurt either! It's a good thing Evalee let her guard down and gave this incredible man a chance. They owe Nicole and Robby a big thank you for conspiring to bring them together.

Cave Creek Farm is a working farm located on 22 acres nestled at the base of Mt Adams in Trout Lake, WA. Home to many animals including cows, chickens, ducks and even a tiny horse named Trigger. They grow a variety of medicinal herbs, planted in a half acre mandala pattern. Visit the farm stand for a variety of teas and salves, eggs and other homemade goods all grown on the farm or from local craftsmen.
