Dog of Honors
Having Nala and Peyto as our Dog of Honors made complete sense to us as they have been extremely loyal and loving throughout our journey. Nala has been Eugenes partner in crime since he was getting his Masters at Cal Poly and has been one of his longest relationships. They have been fiercely loyal to each other since day one. Nala is a firm believer in Leave No Kibble behind. Since Peyto has been adopted he has definitely challenged all of us in new ways and we have learned so much from him. He has quickly adjusted to our schedule and has become a "morning dog" and is all about our daily routine. They bring so much joy to our life and they truly make our little family complete. We were honored to have them by our side on our special day. Just wait until you hear their speeches!
Jess
Officiant
Jess has been a long time friend of Jen's and has supported her through many life changes. The love of music brought them together, they have been to countless music shows and festivals tightened their bond. It was very common for them to stay connected during high traffic commutes via phone chats as they never lived in the same city. Then they ended up living less than 5 miles away from each other in Portland which has been so special. Jess admires Eugene's humor just as much Jen. The pups may even like her more than their parents at times. Since Jess has been able to get to know Jen and Eugene (as a couple) and has become a friend to both, it was decided she would be the officiant. She added the perfect personal touch to the day and is quickly accumulating 5 star Yelp reviews.
