Dawson and Megan met through their first retail jobs. During the time they spent as coworkers, they both recognized the other and both decided that there would be no way the other would see them romantically. Dawson and Megan both thought they themselves were too lame for someone so cool and confident. Through their time as coworkers, they looked forward to seeing each other during their shifts and became comfortable working together. They had a lot of similar interests which led them to later join a group of tabletop game players through their mutual friend, Natalie Labby. While Megan lived in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with her best friend and best friends husband, Alyssa and Grant Weidner, the passing of time and distance only made Dawson and Megan closer friends. After realizing they wanted to be more than just friends, Megan being the first to confess such feelings, they spent some time together exploring the idea of dating. On July 29th, 2022, they became boyfriend and girlfriend taking their first date to go roller skating together. And since, Megan moved back and Dawson bought a house. With the help of friends and family, they’re working together to make it into their home. They look forward to spending the rest of their lives together and celebrating that commitment with family and close friends.
