In March 2019, Ethan and Skyler were Seniors at Mason High School and their Senior prom was coming up. Both of them did not have a date and their two friends asked each of them if they would want to go to prom with the other person (that they've never met). They both agreed to meet each other and went on their first date April 5, 2019 where they spent hours at Panera talking the night away. After that, E and Sky spent the next 2 weeks getting to know each other before prom by going on ice cream dates, hanging out with friends, playing spike ball, and so much more. They went to their Senior prom on April 13, 2019 where they danced the night away. A few days after, they couldn't stop texting and E invited Sky to get ice cream at whippy dip on April 16. When E dropped Sky back to her house he then asked her to be his girlfriend. They both realized they really enjoyed being with one another and day by day started falling for each other. E and Sky's love grew more and more throughout the years even though they were long distance. The 100 miles between them couldn't stop their love for one another and now here we are about to celebrate the coming together of the two. Thank you for walking on this beautiful journey with us.
A week before E proposed to Sky, his mom texted them both asking if they were available January 28th for a family photoshoot at Mt. Echo Park by downtown Cincinnati. E picked Sky up from her house that day and drove them to Mt. Echo. While they were pulling up E parked in a parking lot that was a little bit of a hike but then explained to Sky that it looked like there was a lot of traffic up there so decided to park a little further. Sky then asked where his family was and he swiftly answered by saying "They are running a few minutes behind." Thinking nothing of it, Sky continued walking up the hill with E. Once walked up to the top, Sky looked over and saw 3 beautiful vases of red roses and a semi-circle of candles. E then proceeded on telling her that it was actually not a family photoshoot. While walking closer, E started saying the sweetest things that Sky definitely does not remember since she was in total shock. E got on one knee and asked if Sky would marry him and it was a loud and confident YES from her!! They then had Megan (their photographer) capturing this incredible moment. After the big yes, they then got pictures in the park together. Afterwards, Sky was so excited to tell EVERYONE but E insisted on going to dinner first and spending it together. They then headed to Montgomery Inn on the river where they walked up into a room where both of their families were in waiting to celebrate the two. Sky and E then went on to Facetime the rest of their family and friends telling them the amazing news! This day will always hold a special place in their hearts. Here's to many more special memories they get to make together.
