Ethan and I’s story is nothing but a small glimpse of God’s kindness towards us. On the night that Ethan proposed to me, we reflected on the Lord’s redeeming work in our lives. It is the Lord alone who could take two sinners like us, wash us clean, and use us for His good purposes. He gives the sojourner a home. He comforts the lonely. He satisfies the hungry. He quenches those who thirst. He binds the wounds of the broken. He sets the captive free. Ethan and I were all of these things, and yet Jesus redeemed it all on the cross. Now, we get to see His love for His bride in a greater way through our marriage. We are so thankful and SO excited to celebrate with all of our loved ones!
