When should I book my travel?

Answer

Our recommendation is to book as soon as you can. Flights can range between $400-$600, give or take.

When should we plan to fly?

Answer

The best time to leave would be Friday morning to arrive Friday afternoon. Our check in time is 3pm.

When should I arrive?

Answer

The check in time will be for 3pm on Friday, March 21. You can arrive at this time or later and will be shown to your accommodations.

Can I stay at a different hotel?

Answer

Yes, but you will need to purchase those accommodations. We are providing accommodations at the Casa Santian and will take into consideration guests' stature when designating rooms.

Do I need to bring a gift?

Answer

We recognize that, as this is a destination wedding and as our guests, you are incurring travel expenses. Your presence is gift enough!

Can I bring a plus one to the wedding?

Answer

To keep our celebration intimate and meaningful, we have decided to limit our guest list to our close family and friends, those of whom have received invitations.

What airport should I fly in to?

Answer

We recommend flying in to Merida international airport (MID). You will have a layover but can avoid driving from Cancun (~4 hrs) this way. You are welcome to fly into Cancun but will need to navigate to Merida on your own.

How to get to Casa Santian from Merida International Airport?

Answer

Taxis and Ubers are very safe and very affordable. You can also get in groups to rent vehicles. There is parking at the Casa.

Should we rent a vehicle?

Answer

For your convenience and to make the most of your time at our destination, we encourage guests to consider renting vehicles individually or in groups. There is ample parking on the Casa premises. This can enhance your experience by making it easier to explore the area and ensuring you have flexible transportation options. Merida itself is very walkable. However, some of the outings will require a vehicle to reach the destination.

How will I use my phone in Mexico?

Be sure to check with your cell phone carrier on the terms of usage in Mexico. Some carriers offer plans that can be purchased prior to traveling. Many places throughout Mexico have wifi, including Casa Santian.

What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

Our vibe will be Bohemian Formal Chic. Ladies, think flowing dresses with earthy or jewel tones and elegant details like lace or floral prints. Gentlemen, opt for tailored suits or blazers with dress pants, adding a boho twist with a patterned tie or linen shirt. Everyone, embrace natural charm and vintage vibes for a stylish, free-spirited look.
