We're finally getting married

When we meet, we kinda just never left each other afterward. Being together was never something we thought would happen. Sami and I went to fair that year together not intending on really talking to anyone else. We were watching the rodeo and kinda just people watching, enjoying the night! We would occasionally just wave and say hi to people but that was about it, then Logan and Tyler decided to come over and say hi to us. Well the rest of that whole night ended up being the boys picking at the girls, now Sami knew both the boys but I hadn't met Tyler yet. But I knew Logan so them picking at us wasn't anything, they went and found those giant pixie sticks and started swatting us in the legs. I remember making the comment to Sami, "who the fuck is this random kid just smacking me in the legs" and thats when she told me who Tyler was. Eventually the rodeo ended and Sami and I had to start heading home so we stopped the boys and we actually introduced ourselves, Tyler gave me his snap and he never got rid of me after. From then on we started to become friends...6 months later we started dating....and now we are 8 years in and 2 kids deep. I love him endlessly and every year when fair comes around it makes us reminisce! 😀

We've always done things backwards. We moved in together first, had babies next and now we figured marriage could be checked off. Over the course of the last 3 years Tyler and I have really started to build our family. First with our baby boy, Karsyn Merle LaVern and then our baby girl, Kiaya, now we are remodeling our home. But none of this would be possible without Tyler working his amazing job and spending time away from us. Now with our babies Tyler seems to spend a lot more time out of town and so we miss each other and doing things together. So as the years have gone by the summers have gotten harder. This summer was like any other Tyler had been gone for 2 weeks then got to come home for 2 days then left for 2 weeks again. I've told Tyler since we started having babies that whenever he was ready I was too so he knew that he was my forever. This month though was hard for us, our baby girl had just been born. Our new home was here and the stress was making us crazy but in the mix of it all, our love for each other brought us peace. When Tyler came home the second time we were just having a conversation before bed about each other and what we needed to do. Tyler made me get up from the bed and that's when he grabbed my hand put his head in my lap and asked me. It wasn't anything crazy but it was him. Tyler is such a personal person so for him to ask me then was perfect.
