Things To Do
Beacon
Beacon is a small city about 15 minutes away that has a great number of restaurants and breweries to explore and spend the day. We suggest picking a location on Main Street to park and then walking around the main city center for a few hours. Some our of favorite restaurants are: Homespun Cafe: 232 Main St, Beacon, NY 12508- a cute cafe with great breakfast and lunch foods. The Vault:446 Main St #3379, Beacon, NY 12508- a great, more upscale, tapas restaurant located further down on Main Street Yankee Clipper Diner: 397 Main St, Beacon, NY 12508- a cute old school diner! The Roundhouse-2 E Main St, Beacon, NY 12508- a hotel located in an old mill that has a great restaurant with an outdoor patio and small waterfall. Hudson Valley Brewery- 7 Main Street Beacon, NY 12508- This is great local brewery that usually has food trucks on weekends.
Dia Beacon
Dia Beacon is an excellent modern art museum located in the City of Beacon, about 15 minutes from the hotel and venue. Admission is $20 and you can easily spend several hours exploring the museum's galleries and stunning architecture.
Mount Beacon Trails
Mt Beacon has a few different hiking trails and some amazing views from the top of the Hudson Valley.
Red Line Diner
Located across the street from hotel block, the Red Line Diner is a Hudson Valley classic and a great place to grab a good breakfast or lunch
Boscobel House and Gardens
This is a beautiful estate and gardens that is perfect to spend the afternoon wandering around. Admission is $14.
Treasury Cider
Treasury Cidery is a great place to spend the afternoon hanging out a beautiful orchard with some fresh Hudson Valley Cider. Note they have a limited food menu.
Happy Valley Arcade Bar
This is a great old school arcade with a bar and all day food menu!
