Working our "pre-career" jobs at Syosset Hospital. We were just aquaitntences then Phil left to start with the NYPD and I moved to Massachusetts to attend nursing school. It wasn't until we both establish our careers and reconnected (via Hinge lol) in late 2021 that we started dating.

I took a risk and bought Islanders tickets hoping Phil would agree to come to the game with me rather then meet up to watch the game at a bar. This lead to an all day long date, dinner after, and our first kiss in front of Argyle Jewlers where Phil would later purchase my engagement ring! I had so much fun I called out of work the next day to see the new Spider Man movie with him.

On a clear November day, I thought I was going on a walk down at Robert Moses and then out to lunch with my cousin Tara, not knowing Phil was waiting to propose to me at the lighthouse. He proposed in the spot I had pointed out to him when we climbed the lighthouse a month earlier saying "I bet a lot of people get engaged there because its such a good view of the lighthouse." Little did I know he actually listens to things I say... This was the best day, followed by a celebration at our favorite place, Great South Bay Brewery!
