5 Recommended Hikes Under 4 Miles: String Lake: String Lake to Leigh Lake Portage Stairs is 2 mile (round trip) hike, flat, and has fabulous Teton Views Lakeshore Trail at Colter Bay: 1-2 miles round trip, flat with one incline, great views of the Tetons Hidden Falls at Jenny Lake: Less than 1 mile round trip when you take the boat shuttle - Teton views from the boat shuttle, no Teton views on the hike because you are on the Tetons! Taggart Lake: 3.2 mile roundtrip if you do the in and out trail to the lake. Great Teton views throughout the hike. Lunch Tree Hill at Jackson Lake Lodge: Less than 1/2 mile round trip, one long, gradual incline with great Teton views, includes informational boards on animals, geology, and history of the Grand Teton National Park.
Matt proposed at the top of Mt. Glory. Incredible views into Teton valley, Idaho and Wyoming. This is a quick 45 minute to an hour hike straight up from the pass.
Can't beat the ol' knotty pine. Great food and fresh drinks at the local favorite.
