Our original wedding was for just over 400 people (a number that seems large, but truly was our nearest and dearest). After much consideration, we have decided to adjust that plan again to have June 5th be more intimate and safer for all. Family is the most important thing to us, and the pandemic has been a constant reminder of that. We are both so very close with all of our siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, parents and grandparents, and our dream is to have everyone meet each other! We will now be having family and wedding party only in June and we could not be more excited! We will miss so many of you dearly and will be thinking of you on the day of our celebration! Thank you for your patience and support as we have worked through the Covid wedding planning process!
Hi family and friends! With the help of our amazing parents, we have made the tough decision to postpone our wedding reception until June 5, 2021. The uncertainty upon us (thank you, COVID-19) does not suit well for a celebration of our love with so many of our nearest and dearest. While we were so looking forward to celebrating with all of our family and friends, at this point in time, it seems like an unnecessary risk. Ten years ago, we were roaming the streets of the UD ghetto. If someone had told us we’d be getting married in 2020, we would have thought you were crazy. Furthermore, if someone had said, you will plan to get married in 2020, but a global pandemic will occur causing you to reschedule your wedding reception, we would have thought you were absolutely nuts. But, here we are. We cannot wait to be married to each other which is why we are still planning to be married in the church this August surrounded by our parents and siblings. It is our hope that COVID-19 will have seen itself out enough for our grandparents to celebrate alongside our immediate families. When we spoke with Father Wall, he talked about the power of having an intimate ceremony with our two families and we truly cannot wait for that. We are counting our blessings right now- being together, being surrounded by our incredible families, being healthy and having a fully stocked wine cellar! Once this social distancing order is over, we will have one hell of a celebration. Save the date for June 5, 2021! Love you all, The Future Kellys Keegan & Erin
