The Wedding Website of Erin Sherwood and Jason Wilmott
If you have any other questions about travel, your stay, things to do, or the ceremony please let us know! Erin (650) 388-6617 or Jason (802) 230-6517 (he’s a Vermont native!)
Question

What are the hotel prices and how do I book my room?

Answer

**Please book by 6/30 to ensure availability!** Please call The Lake Morey Resort directly at (800) 423-1211 and ask for the Sherwood~Wilmott block of rooms. Classic $229 plus tax single or double occupancy Deluxe Lakeview $289+ Garden (large) $309+ Lakeview Terrace $319+ Avery Suite $339+ Please note we have blocked 15 rooms for Sunday 8/28 through Wednesday 8/31 for our guests. If you choose to stay longer (which we would love for you to do!) it will be subject to the resort’s availability. Also, the resort has a special where your 4th night is free if you book 3 nights at their normal rate, which works out to be cheaper than paying for 4 nights at our discounted rate.

Question

When should I arrive and depart my stay at the resort?

Answer

We have activities planned for Sunday 8/28 and Monday 8/29 prior to the wedding, but please feel free to come and go any day that works for you. Jason & Erin will be staying in their cottage at the resort from Saturday 8/27 through Friday 9/2 so please feel free to stay as long as you wish while we are there! We chose a Tuesday ceremony date so you have ample time to plan adventures in the area or other parts of New England either before or after the ceremony day.

Question

What are some other area attractions outside of the resort we should visit during our stay?

Answer

Ben & Jerry’s of course! Located in Waterbury, VT about an hour from Lake Morey. Check the website for latest info on factory tours and scoop shop hours for ice cream tasting. Cold Hollow Cider Mill - cider donuts, fresh apple cider (and hard ciders) plus all things Vermont from maple syrup to cheddar cheese. White Mountain National Forest - hiking and pretty scenery.

For all the days along the way
