The ceremony will start at 4:00pm. We encourage guests to arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. The doors will be open for guests starting at 3:30pm. Feel free to take advantage of the partially hosted bar as you get settled in.
Clothes are a great start! Probably not white clothes, but beyond that…we’re going for a Cocktail Party vibe. Classy ensembles, dresses, jumpsuits, nice tops and slacks, maybe a blazer or jacket if you’re feeling snazzy. The most important things are that you can boogie comfortably and that you feel debonair as all get out 😊
Exciting news! Once you’ve made it into the venue…you never have to leave!! Until you have to leave, that is. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all take place in the same location. How easy is that? Please note that our venue does have a healthy amount of stairs, so if you don’t feel like wearing your tallest stilettos, we’ll understand.
While we can’t predict what the weather will be like exactly, we have a feeling we’ll be well into Sweater Season. It is possible we could see a few flurries by the beginning of November too, so be prepared to bundle up.
We are not providing mass transportation to the wedding. The venue can be reached easily from Downtown Minneapolis – a straight shot off Interstate 35W headed north out of Minneapolis onto Hwy 36 right into downtown Stillwater and from Downtown St. Paul – quick ride north on Interstate 35E, then straight east on Hwy 36.
There are a couple of places we recommend for easy parking when you make it to Downtown Stillwater... First--There is a 24hr Parking Ramp on 2nd Street between Myrtle & Mulberry. Parking in the ramp costs $3. Second-- There is an All Day lot down by the river between Nelson & Chestnut. Both areas are a short 3 block walk to the venue. Please see map: https://www.discoverstillwater.com/directions-4/#gallery-2
Between the ceremony and reception, there will be some light hors d’oeuvres before we gather for a buffet dinner. We’ve got some tasty cupcakes coming your way, and popcorn station to end the night. Hope y’all come hungry!
We have included a question in your RSVP to provide any dietary restrictions or allergies you want us to know about. If you forget to input that information, or happen to develop any restrictions or allergies after you have submitted your RSVP, please email us at galliongomez@gmail.com
We will be providing a partially hosted bar including select beer, wine, and soda. If you are interested in fancy cocktails or any type of bubbly, please make sure to bring some cash with you. The bar will be available from 3:30pm to 7:30pm should you wish to imbibe.
We are hosting an unplugged ceremony. Please keep your devices tucked away until after we’ve said our “I do’s” and let our photographer do what she does best. After the ceremony, we can’t wait to have you take all the pictures! (and hopefully tag them with #GomezGotTheGalz) We’ll also have a photobooth available for any other shenanigans you’d like preserved for posterity.
RSVP-ing online is the way to go. Just one tab over even! If you’re having trouble finding or submitting your RSVP through our site, please email us at galliongomez@gmail.com
RSVPs are due by OCTOBER 7th, 2022! If we don’t hear from you, you’ll probably get a friendly reminder poke in early October.
We aren’t planning to stream the ceremony at this time. There will very likely be another celebration in Kansas in the spring. If you can’t make it to this event and would like information about a later ceremony/reception, please email us at galliongomez@gmail.com.
We do! It is one of the tabs on this site even if you’d like to take a look.
As stated elsewhere, your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.
#GomezGotTheGalz will help us collect all of your great memories in one place.
We are asking that everyone who attends our wedding to be as vaccinated and boosted as possible to help everyone celebrate safely. If you are willing to take a Covid test prior to attending, that would be greatly appreciated. If you are feeling poorly or experiencing any common symptoms of Covid, you will be missed, but we ask that you please stay home.
Once you have RSVP’d, we will send you an invitation to our wedding Discord. That is where we are planning to share any urgent updates or notifications about any wedding related events. If you are unfamiliar with Discord, give us a shout at galliongomez@gmail.com and we’ll help you out.
Please email us at galliongomez@gmail.com if you have any other questions or concerns!
