We’re getting married!

Erin first caught Erik’s eye in 2013 at a bar in San Luis Obispo, CA. Not just any bar but the classiest joint in town called Mother’s Tavern, aka MoTav. Erik spotted her from across the room, her red lipstick and curly blonde hair were impossible to miss. He was too chicken to approach Erin at first but with the help of a friend and a few drinks, he mustered up the courage to introduce himself. Erik did his best to woo Erin that night, but his charm and bad jokes left him with nothing but a hug and a phone number. Later Erin admitted that she thought he was cute but that his favorite purple shirt actually made him look more like magician than a boyfriend. Erik knew he had to get a date, but it turns out saving someone in your phone as “Cute Curly Girl” doesn’t get you very far. The social media investigation failed to render any results and Erik thought he would be left with the memory of Erin’s big blue eyes forever imprinted only on his memory. As you’ve probably guessed by now, the story doesn’t end there, 2 years later while meandering through the meadow of the Madonna Inn during the famous SLO Beer Fest, fate finally took its course. This time, however, it was Erik who caught Erin’s eye. His short shorts and sun burn were impossible to resist. Erin smiled, they locked eyes, and the rest is history. Over the next 6 years, they travelled the world together, survived the trials of a 400 sq ft apartment, and learned that love is a constant effort of compassion, trust and never letting eachother get hungry. They also welcomed 2 silly bulldogs into their family - Henry and Ami. On Christmas Eve in 2020 with the backdrop of a candle lit dinner and a beautifully lit Christmas tree Erik finally got down on a knee and popped the question. In the moment he may have forgotten a few words, but needless to say, she said yes! Now its off to Cabo San Lucas to seal the deal and we couldn’t be more excited to have you there with us!
