Erin Smith

Bride

Erin grew up in the small town of Cameron, Missouri. After high school, she went to college at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri (where she met Derek!). She then moved to Bowling Green, Ohio to pursue her masters degree at Bowling Green State University. After grad school she got a job with Chicago Public Schools to be closer to Derek. They then decided to move to Kansas City to be closer to friends and Erin's family. She is now the band director at East High School in Kansas City, Missouri. Her favorite hobbies are cooking, playing board games, and hanging out with her two poodles (aka her kids) Vinnie and Bella.

Derek Feeney

Groom

Derek grew up moving all over the midwest but went to high school in St. Louis, Missouri. He then went to college at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri (where he met Erin!) After college, he moved to Chicago to be close to his family. He started working at Lifetime Fitness as a childcare worker. He now is the Engineer at Lifetime Fitness in Overland Park, Kansas. His favorite hobbies are playing disc golf, board games, and video games.
