In light of COVID-19 we have decided to have a small ceremony with family. We are saddened to have to cancel our in person festivities, but we hope you will be able to join us for a virtual celebration! Please contact us with your email address to receive the zoom link .
Erin and Tristan were both attending classes at Augusta State University when their paths first crossed. They had many mutual friends and frequented the same places. Tristan first met Erin at Bar on Broad towards the end of her 21st birthday bar crawl. Not exactly how Erin imagined first meeting the love of her life, but here we are!
The University of Georgia loses to an unranked University of South Carolina and I was sure that our date night was ruined. Tristan still seemed to be in good spirits though! He wanted to get dressed up and honestly, I was just glad he still wanted to go out after that loss. For the one and only time in our relationship I was ready early. Tristan said he wanted to drive by the university on the way to dinner and I thought he was trying to make us late so I fussed the whole way there. We pulled into the main entrance and there was a large group of people standing around the fountain. It took me a moment to realize we knew the people at the fountain. I said “look at all those people… Oh. Wait. We know them! Those are our people! What are they doing at date night?!” Tristan got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of our lives together! I said YES and we popped champagne! We are so excited to celebrate with each of you! See you in Augusta!
