FAQs

Question

What does "formal attire" mean?

Answer

Formal wedding attire sits between cocktail and black tie on the wedding dress code scale. It's slightly more elevated than cocktail attire and a touch less dressy than a black-tie nuptial.

Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, all wedding events are for adults only. Please let us know if you need a babysitter!

Question

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding?

Answer

Our shuttle buses will leave The Cassara Hotel at 3:30 PM. They will not be coming back for another trip. The venue also provides a complimentary parking lot. However, if you plan to leave the wedding before the bus leaves at 10:00 PM, we strongly suggest scheduling an Uber ahead of time.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outside, and cocktail hour and the reception will be inside.

Question

What's the weather like this time of year?

Answer

You can expect temperatures in Carlsbad and Vista to reach a high of 60 - 70 degrees and a low of 45 - 50 degrees.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation doesn't include the word "and guest," we don't have a plus one for you.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Our welcome party is on Friday, April 26th, 12pm - 3pm at The Deck (at 264 Fresco).

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at during the ceremony?

Answer

We've hired an exceptional photography team and will share their photos as soon as we get them! We ask that you wait to take photos until after we exchange our vows. If you'd like to photograph us as a newly married couple, it's really important to stay out of the aisle and out of the photographer's way.
