What time should guests arrive? (Ceremony)

Answer

Ceremony will start promptly at 11:30 am at Rockhill Grille. We ask that guest arrive at 11:00 am so that everyone can be settled for the service. There is limited seating for the actual ceremony, but all areas of the venue with standing room and other seating options that will be able to view the ceremony.

What time should guests arrive? (Party/Reception)

Answer

Evening celebration will start with a happy hour at 5:30pm and will naturally progress in to the party at 6:30pm. The event will be treated like more of a party with no official schedule. Throughout the night we plan to have time for some speeches and toasts. Please don’t not show up before 5:30pm, so the venue has time to properly set up for the evening.

What should I expect for food?

Answer

Following the ceremony we will have brunch style social eats. For the reception we will have heavy appetizer, as well as some food stations. Menu details coming soon!

Is there a dress code?

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony & brunch will be indoors. Cocktail and reception will be mostly indoors, but Extra Virgin has a beautiful patio that will be open for our use.

What is the closest airport?

Answer

Kansas City International Airport, its about a 20 min uber ride to downtown.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Ceremony & Brunch: There is a parking lot that we are able to use across the street as well as street parking. Cocktail Hour & Reception: There will be limited street parking. We recommend taking Ubers. The venue is less than half a mile from many of the hotels.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We love all of your children, but take this wedding as a day/night to get away from the kids for a bit.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, reception will have an open bar. For the brunch we are currently working with the venue to figure out these details. Please check back for updates

Will there be vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free meal options?

Answer

Yes, while we are not going to have meals, we will have vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options for the food.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Your invite should indicate whether or not you have a plus-one. If you have any questions please contact us and we will confirm with you.

Are you registered anywhere? Is there a wishing well or honeymoon fund?

Answer

We are not registered anywhere, as we prefer a more traditional approach to gifts. We truly cherish personalized and heartfelt gifts that reflect our relationship. However, if you’re unsure of what to give and would still like to contribute, we have a honeymoon fund to help us create unforgettable memories together. Your love and support mean the world to us, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
