"Punting is a truly timeless, slightly eccentric, quintessentially Oxford, idyllic pleasure." Join us for a memorable day trip to the medieval city of Oxford, where you'll explore all its architectural grandeur and experience punting on the River Thames. For those unfamiliar, punting is Oxford's favorite pastime for locals and tourists alike. It’s pretty simple, really: a punt is a flat-bottomed boat, and punting is the act of propelling the boat along the water using a long stick to push the bottom of the river. Each boat is five people seated, plus one punter. We will have coaches to transport our whole party from central Winchester to Oxford (approximately one hour's drive), departing mid-morning and returning early evening before dinner. We'll arrange the punting reservations. Lunch and oxford tours will be up to each group, but we will provide suggestions.

Our rehearsal dinner is open to all wedding guests. It will be held at the home of Erik's aunt Jenny and uncle Bryan, in their garden, a 15-minute walk or short drive from central Winchester.

Our wedding ceremony, reception, dinner and dancing will be held at the Clock Barn, a beautiful countryside venue near the village of Whitchurch in rural Hampshire county. We will arrange for coaches to transport guests from central Winchester, arriving just before our ceremony, and returning in groups at the end of the evening.
