Yes. In addition to RSVP-ing please email us a photo of you and your guest's vaccination cards to mcpepwedding@gmail.com. We will not mark your RSVP complete until we receive this. Thank you for helping to keep our friends and family safe and healthy.
This is a non-traditional wedding! Hey, are you surprised? While there will be ample food and drink available throughout the night, there will not be a traditional plated meal or assigned seating. The theater is big and comfortable with tables and chairs throughout, including within the theater itself. We encourage you to wander around the theater, enjoy the music video playlist (from the seats or from the dance floor!), watch Wayne's World, play boardgames, or serenade your loved ones with karaoke in the upstairs theater. Studio 35 is handicap accessible and we will have spaces available for those in need of accommodation. Please email us at mcpepwedding@gmail.com if you have any questions or require assistance.
LOTS! We have amazing museums, book shops, restaurants and breweries, and have listed some of our favorites on the Things To Do page. And if you're staying at the Blackwell, you'll be right next door to Ohio State's iconic football stadium
The airport is super close to the city! A Lyft typically costs $20-$25, and the ride is about 15-20 minutes depending on where you are staying.
We suggest using Lyft to get around for the wedding festivities, as everything is fairly close together. For public transit, the COTA bus system runs along High St and the fare is between $2-$3 with free transfers. More info on local transit here: https://www.experiencecolumbus.com/travel-tools/get-around-cbus/
Caitlin works at the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum, and Erik works at the Wexner Center for the Arts. Unfortunately, the Wexner Center galleries will be closed the week of the wedding (but you can still check out the awesome book store and cafe). Caitlin will be giving a tour of the Cartoon Library archive at 1pm on Friday, April 29th. All are welcome! Please contact Caitlin if you want to attend the tour. The Billy Ireland is open 1-5pm Tuesday-Sunday and is free to the public. The Wexner Center cafe is open at 9am-3pm Monday-Friday and the bookstore is open 11am-5pm Tuesday-Sunday.
The Rock Hall is in Cleveland, which is about 2 - 2.5 hours away, worth the trip if you are here for a few days.
Unfortunately due to limited space, we are able to accommodate a small number of children traveling from out of state.
