Annah is the most independent, hilarious, intelligent, and beautiful person you will ever meet. She was my rock when we were in the midst of completing our Ph.D. program and remains my rock. It's no exaggeration that I could not have made it to the finish line without her friendship. She has taught me so many things, ranging from pharmacokinetics to how to prepare a Thanksgiving turkey. Every woman needs a best friend like Annah and I feel very lucky to have her friendship. I love her will to be inclusive, open-minded, and just an overall firecracker of a human.

There is no other person that can make me laugh as hard as Dan. I met Dan shortly before entering graduate school while working in Vanderbilt's Neuroscience Drug Discovery Center doing molecular pharmacology screening small molecule drugs. Dan, with his organic chemistry background, would create the compound, drop it off by my lab bench for me to screen, and then show up before the crack of dawn asking whether or not I saw the desired drug activity in cells before I even had the chance to analyze the data. This dynamic carried over into our friendship where we used our ability to work as a team to slay monsters in our favorite video games, publish papers, and even conquer some of our fear of other humans together. He is the kindest friend.

I have known Chris since the 4th grade when we were in the same class at Southside elementary. We were also neighbors so we spent a lot of time playing together as kids. We both ended up in the same part of Florida together where we had multiple jobs together, surfed, fished, and lived together on multiple occasions.

Fish and I met wayyyyyy back in 2000 when we both worked at Walmart. He's been there for all the chapters of my adult life.

I met Rob while attending UWF. We got to know each other while running, riding bikes, and talking about cats together in Pensacola.

Kyle and I met all the way back in 2008 in my beach bum days. We worked on the beach together but it didn't take long for us to start hanging out outside of work. We would surf, skim board, enjoy the local happy hours, and we even went to Costa Rica together.
