The Maui Airport is Kahului (OGG). The best way to get to Maui is to leave from Newark, Philadelphia, or JFK and have a short layover somewhere in California, Arizona, etc., and then get to Maui from there. Although it's a very long travel day, it is so worth it once you're over there- we promise!
No, Maui is a part of the United States and no passport is required.
Transportation will be provided to and from the Westin Hotel for guests.
Please do whatever is most convenient for you and your family and friends, including AirBNB, timeshares, etc. However, transportation to/from the wedding will only be provided to/from the Westin. Uber in Maui is not the most reliable, especially at night, so we would recommend booking a car service for your transportation.
The wedding will be outdoors. Please dress accordingly. The weather in Maui in October is highs in the 80s, and lows in the 70s.
The attire for the wedding is "Island Cocktail" We want you to look and feel your best, so wear whatever you want that makes you feel great and look nice! Women are invited to wear short or long dresses of any fabric and color besides white. It's Hawaii- have fun with colors and prints! Please be advised that part of our wedding will be on the grass and pavemented areas, stilettos are not advised. Heels and dressy sandals are acceptable. Men are invited to wear dress shirts of any color or fabric and pants. Jackets, bowties, and ties are not required but are welcomed. Shoes required.
All guests who are invited to bring a plus one will have an option to RSVP for a guest through Zola. Otherwise, we prefer you come with your friends and/or family who are attending!
If your invitation/RSVP includes your child's name, yes. If not, we ask that you do not bring your children to the wedding or wedding related events. As much as we love all your little ones, we want you to be able to let your hair down and celebrate with us!
We are having an unplugged ceremony, so we ask you don't use your cellphone or camera during. But, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like following the ceremony. We can't wait to see your pictures!
Erika & Trevor absolutely recommend renting a car. There is so much to explore on the island, and having the flexibility to get around is the best way to make the most of your trip.
Please check out our "things to do" tab for our favorite places to go and eat. Enjoy!
