What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal attire. Rustic wear encouraged! The ladies in the wedding party will be wearing steel blue mid-length dresses, and the men will be wearing jeans, cowboy boots, and brown vests.

Where would you recommend staying?

Answer

If you would like to spend your weekend in the mountains and be close to the venue, we would recommend staying in the Goldenwoods Condos at Powderhorn. Just be sure to prepare ahead of time and bring groceries with you, as the dining options are very limited! If you would prefer a less remote experience, we would recommend staying in Grand Junction or Palisade. Powderhorn is not far, and you can take the shuttle to/from the wedding if desired!

How does the shuttle work?

Answer

We are providing a shuttle from Grand Junction so that guests who choose to stay in town can still party the night away with us, and not have to worry about the 45 minute drive. The shuttle will pick guests up at the Courtyard by Marriott and depart at 3:15 pm. If you are planning to stay in Grand Junction and take the shuttle, please answer "yes" on the RSVP questionnaire so we can be sure to have enough seats for everyone! The shuttle will arrive at Powderhorn in time for the 4:30 pm ceremony. There will tentatively be two shuttle departure times, at 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm, depending on how many guests choose to take the shuttle.
