We will be having an elopement style ceremony at Cathedral Beach in the heart of the park, and this will be followed by a reception dinner at our cabin in Wawona in the southern part of Yosemite National Park. There is a drive between the ceremony and reception site.
Yes. Since the wedding and reception is taking place in the park a park pass is mandatory. There are day passes available at the entrance, but if you have an annual national park pass that will also suffice.
The venue for the ceremony and reception site is very limited. Due to this we will specify a plus one on the invitation for those who are able to bring one.
Due to the limited capacity of the venue, the invitations will list the names of the guests invited.
Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. I do recommend bringing an umbrella in case of rain.
The average temperature in Yosemite National Park in June is 81 F with still cool low temperatures averaging 51 F. The wedding will be in the late afternoon/evening, so I would prepare for it to cool down.
