I met Alyssa at Dance Central where we took many classes together for who knows how many years. We were also a part of the Dance Central Dance Company where we both became better dancers. Our relationship really grew in our later teen years as we just connected and became best friends. One of my fondest memories is visiting Alyssa at LMU during Thanksgiving break. We successfully had a homemade Thanksgiving dinner, even though the power went out while our turkey was in the oven! I look forward to the day she moves back home and becomes my family's eye doctor. Kennedy Ursulum
Best Man
Kennedy is my first cousin’s, first cousin/childhood neighbor/and best friend. We grew up together and quickly bonded over shared interests in anything young men were interested in at the time (cars, sports, girls, movies, video games, cars, music, and girls). I can thank Ken for bringing me to my first EDM concert and we have gone out on many occasions since then. As my friend and brother for over 20 years, I could not be happier to have him standing by my side on the special day.
Tatiana Aguilar

Tatiana is Jerrick’s sister and when I first started seeing him, I would only go to the family events if I knew she was going to be there. I am not kidding. Tatiana really accepted me as I am and I appreciate her because she was a mediator on many occasions throughout the years. She is not only my future sister-in-law, but also a really good friend who just understands. Let’s all thank Tatiana, because if it wasn’t for her this wedding wouldn’t be happening. Joshua has been one of my closest friends since we first met in the 7th grade at middle school. We had several classes together and also caught the terminal bus before and after school (shout out to the terminal bus gang and friends from school!). One of the best trips was in 2017 with Josh, Erika and Nalani where we flew up to experience EDC for the first time. At the wedding: Please keep an eye on him, as we do not want to lose him like we did that one night in Las Vegas during the same EDC trip in 2017.

I kind of met Nalani the same day I met Jerrick (Go to How We Met section). We met again a few months later when I decided to go with Jerrick and Nalani to a concert. Since then, we have partied together, traveled together, laughed together, cried together, danced together; just so many things together (get your mind out of the gutter, you nasty!). I have known Jimmy from about the same time I met Erika. We really became closer friends after I turned 21 years old. We would occasionally go out with the morning crew at the gym (you morning people know who you are, shout out!). Some of my favorite memories include Painting with a Twist, various Karaoke nights, random bar hopping, and almost throwing up in his 4Runner the week he bought it. Aside from enjoying the company and an occasional alcoholic beverage with the guy, he can cook and bake too!

How We Met?
(As told by Jerrick) It was a typical morning for me, of going to the gym and getting my workout in then off to do whatever else I planned for the day. On the equipment I needed to use, there was a 45 pound plate left on the barbell. Confused, I approached the person nearest and asked her if anyone was using it. She said no and quickly put her earphones back in. OK thanks, but then I also ended up introducing myself to her and she told me her name too. Cool! I know her name now. Later that morning, I picked up my nephew Ethan. We met with Nalani and went to hike Diamond Head. After the hike, the three of us went to Kaimana Beach just to quickly jump in the water. I run into the water and then I notice her at the beach with her friends. I was thinking, “Is that the girl from the gym, from this morning?” I went over to say hi. The girl was Erika, The Beginning.
