Flight

Flying into Newark International Airport (EWR)

This will be the most convenient option for out-of-towners. From there, you can either rent a car, uber or take the NJTransit (cheapest option) on the North Jersey Coast line, and get off at Red Bank or Long Branch, depending on where you are staying. The drive is about 40 minutes depending on where you're staying, and the train ride is about 1.5 hours.

Traveling from NYC

If you are traveling directly from NYC, you have a couple of public transportation options. The quickest option is to take the Seastreak Ferry from whichever location is most convenient for you, there are three options: Pier 11 (Financial District - Lower Manhattan), Brookfield Place (Tribeca - Lower Manhattan) or East 35th St (Midtown). This is the most expensive but most convenient option for people traveling from New York. The most convenient destination is Highlands, NJ, however you can take the Seastreak to Atlantic Highlands as well. The second option is to take the NJTransit, details are below.
