Maid of Honor
Erika & I met in 5th grade when we were placed on the same recreational basketball team that my brother ended up coaching. The next school year we were in the same class & that’s when our friendship really took off - ever since we have been bff’s! Through all of the boys, life-events, heartbreaks, drama, and highs of life, our friendship has persevered. It’s been an honor not only to watch Erika blossom into her most authentic self, but watch the love her & Ben share grow and mature over the years. It’s such a privilege to be part of their celebration & I am so excited for the future to come ♥️
Best Man
Ben and I met when we were in middle school. He was my first friend in Ohio. He and I spent many days talking about what our future would hold and no one would expect Ben with Erika. May their love be forever strong and I can’t wait to celebrate my best friend’s best day.
Man of Honor
Groomswoman
Bridesmaid
Erika and I met while working at our work-study jobs at OSU surrounded by cockroaches and dusty instruments. We had some of our greatest laughs and deepest conversations in that nasty room, and after about a year of doing that we thought, hey, maybe we should actually hangout, like, not at work? That decision led to many late night porch talks, a *second* job together, and spending our Monday nights watching the Bachelorette at Leo’s (Greg deserved better). Throughout all of this, I have gotten to know Ben and Erika’s relationship, and their love for each other is so sweet and genuine. I can’t wait to support my best friend on one of the biggest days of her life!
Groomsman
Bridesmaid
Erika and I first met by total accident, her brother Aaron was taking me on one of our very first dates and we quite literally ran into each other in the doorway of Zamarellis Pizza. Little did we know then it would only be the first of many hysterical moments as a family. Erika is one of THE warmest most outstanding women I’ve ever met. A true girls girl, friend, and cheering section for everyone she meets. I’m so proud to call her sister and so excited to watch her walk down the aisle to the love of her life.
Groomsman
Ring Bearer
My aunt Erika and I met this past May when I was just a tiny newborn. She gives me the biggest kisses and hugs. I can’t wait to see how pretty she looks in her dress. I promise not to lose the ring aunt Rik!
Brother of the Bride
Erika, watching you grow up has been an absolute delight. From being a tiny little kid that I would scare with grandma’s Maleficent mask to watching you graduate from high school and choose a major that none of us expected, but you felt like it was your calling and eventually graduating with a Masters degree in it. So naturally the next step you need to accomplish would be marriage? Ben is and has been a perfect fit for our family and more importantly, a perfect fit for you. You’ve both been able to work together, live together, accomplish goals together and that’s the only way to live life. I’ll be proud to call him brother on March 25th and I’m honored, Erika, to walk you down the aisle to hand you off to my future brother. Oh yeah, I can’t wait to party with the newly married Colburns!
