Unplugged Ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we are requesting that during the ceremony all phones and cameras be stowed away. We want everyone to enjoy the moment as much as we will. Once the reception starts, however, please take as many photos as possible and tag us on Instagram #finallybroome

Where do we park at the venue?

Answer

Southern Oaks plantation has a parking lot in the rear of the venue large enough for 100 cars. If you know someone also attending. I recommend car pooling from the hotel.

Wedding starts at two, what time can we get there?

Answer

The venue will open it's gates no more than one hour before the ceremony. Please do not try to get on the premises before then. We ask that the guests arrive around 1:30pm.

Can I bring a guest or kids even though the invitation doesn't specify?

Answer

We're sorry, as much as we would love to have everyone at our big day, we are unfortunately limited to a strict guest count. However, if the kids need to tag along, please reach out. Please rsvp if you will be attending or not attending. We hope you can still make it!!

Do I have to RSVP? Can I just tell you I'm coming?

It would be really helpful if you could actually mail your card back or rsvp via our website. It helps to keep me organized during these crazy times! But if you lost it or accidentally threw it away, no worries; you can just let me know over the phone.”

What should I wear?

Answer

I’m sure you look great in anything you have. Our wedding ceremony is outdoors with our reception indoors. We encourage you to take this opportunity to get fancy and have a lot of fun. Just think of it as a fancy party or dinner and wear whatever you would wear to that ;)

We'd love to know if you can make it (we hope you can). Please RSVP by October 12, 2019

Will there be food and drinks at the reception?

Answer

Absolutely!! No other way to celebrate. We will have a variety of dishes available and a full open bar. Our mission is for you to have a great time and help us celebrate such a wonderful moment in our lives.

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is gift enough. And since we will be traveling from Alaska, transporting gifts will be difficult, but if you wish to give, we'd love a contribution to our honeymoon or our future home fund.
