Meredith met Kathleen while working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. One New Year's Eve working alongside each other sealed the deal, and Kat and Meredith have been friends ever since. They've traveled to England and Greece together, and Kat has been monumental in encouraging and supporting Meredith in life and relationships. She and Eric are two peas in a pod and Meredith is honored to have her at her side on her wedding day.

Melly is also her partner in crime for graduate school getting their Masters as Family Nurse Practitioners. Meressa is Meredith’s younger sister, 3 years her junior. She has helped Meredith make hard decisions and has always been supportive of her and Eric’s blossoming relationship. Meressa has always been protective of her big sister, and Meredith couldn't imagine her wedding day without her "Mims" by her side.

Tomas is Eric’s little brother, 8 years the younger, and is currently attending college at the University of Texas at Austin where he is attempting to amass as many degrees as they will let him.

She may be the youngest but definitely has been and continues to play the role of “big” sister to Meredith, helping her be decisive and always being one of her biggest supports. Meredith's wedding day wouldn't be complete without Maryanne by her side as she always and continues to be with all of life's new adventures.

David is Meressa’s rock and met Eric at many Mobley family events as well as repeated check ups on his car at North Star dodge. Meredith lovingly refers to him as her Big brother.

Nevaeh is Allyssa’s twin sister and Meredith’s other goddaughter. She is the first premie baby Meredith ever held, and has aspirations to be as tall as her Nina Mere. Like her sister she means the world to Meredith. Meredith couldn’t imagine getting married without her baby girl’s present.
