We're getting married!

That's right, we met online! You can really find anything online nowadays, especially love. Eric and I caught each others dating profiles before catching each others eyes. Eric says he was a sucker for my movie selection, which was anything Disney, and I admitted that I only swiped right in hopes to one day meet his dog (which is now our dog). We messaged for a few weeks; getting to know each other, exchanging cheesy pick up lines, and making it clear that neither of us were really looking for anything, just going with the flow. Little did we know that these conversations were going to lead us to the start of our forever. I sent Eric a message one Saturday evening asking, "what are you doing tonight?.” Now some people may say it was a coincidence or just pure luck, but Eric was actually scheduled to work that evening and his job just so happened to give him the night off. He replied, "Nothing really, why what's up?." I had invited him out to Voodoo with the company of my sisters and some close friends and a few moments later we had finally caught each other’s eyes. We talked, we laughed, we sang, and danced the night away to the most beautiful last first date of our lives. Everything about that night was perfect; the company, the music, the vibe overall. We simply did not want the night to end. Eric and I saw something special, we weren't just some ordinary match. We made sure to make that known as we already made plans for our second date before the night ended. After a month of talking and going on dates, Eric asked me to be his girlfriend and from there, well-y'all know our story. He proposed to me on New Year’s Eve of 2022, we bought our first home in January of 2023, and we tie the knot to forever on May of 2024. We didn't know that we were only one swipe away from finding our forever person. We didn't know that the night he conveniently had off would lead us to soon walking down the aisle to say I do in front of all of our family and friends that we love. But we do know that the moment we met, we couldn't wait to introduce each other to our friends and family to share this love that we have for each other with all of you. This is the start to our forever and we are blessed and grateful to have you all be a part of our special day. Thank you for loving us, supporting us, and wishing us the best.
