Julia saw Eric on his brother David's profile, when he posted a picture of them at his wedding. "Wowza! " she thought, “A Packer fan with a great smile and a dog named after a Marvel Character?”, so she shot her shot and just added him. Eric immediately saw it, added her back and slid into her DM's. 3 days of texting and Julia jumped on a plane down to Nashville (sharing her location with her sister…just in case). A quick 36 hours in Nashville and that's all it was supposed to be, was anything but. While it was fun, it was peculiar because it left Eric feeling that Julia was different. His courtship of Julia intensified as soon as he dropped her off at the airport and told her, "I have to see you again". Julia turned around (doughnut in hand) and replied, "You will" and walked away...

The eve of Kathy Lassard (M.O.B.)'s 60th birthday, the entire Philbrick family was gathering "up north" in Lake Loon, to celebrate. Everyone, except Julia and her two younger nephew's (Colton and Colin) were the only people not in on the "other" celebration that was going to be taking place. Lake Loon had a special place in Julia's heart - she grew up going to this lake and made countless memories with her family. Grandpa Larry used to be Lake's president. In fact, her sister Melissa (Maid of Honor) was proposed to by Joey at Lake Loon. Eric, understanding Lake Loon's significance, carefully crafted the surprise proposal, with all Philbrick's around, under the guise of Kathy's birthday. You could tell how surprised Julia truly was, by her attire in the pictures (See "Gallery")...
