We're getting married! Finally!

We were only kids and our parents would always be the ones to say hello to each another after a church service. We would just awkwardly stand there and wave at each other with an occasional smile.

It was labor day weekend 2015 and the beginning of Jen's college freshman year when a random friend request popped up on facebook. She accepted and thought "why not" and sent Eric a message since she recognized him from church. The rest is sorta history :)

Eric picked Jen up from Muhlenberg College. This was their first time meeting in person and Eric did not know his way around campus. He called Jen on the phone when he arrived and to grab Jen's attention, spun around in circles until she found him on Chew Street. He drove her back to Lansdale for their first date, dinner and movie. Eric chose Oki Sushi all-you-can-eat, where Jen barely ate because she was so nervous. Although the movie was not great, he made her laugh and smile throughout the evening.

Jen definitely had an idea Eric was going to propose. He kept saying "I can't wait until sunset at the park later", told Jen to change her outfit (he never does this) and had to nervous pee on the drive. After a sweet dinner, Eric led Jen to one of their favorite overlooks at Green Lane Park where they've had frequent picnics, conversations and walks. He got down on one knee where the lighting was golden, tears were falling and she said yes!
